International Poetry Night

GLOBAL CONNECTIONS POETRY NIGHT CELEBRATES THE DIVERSITY OF VERSE

Founded in 1961, Global Connections (GC) is a Centre County community-based, volunteer-driven non-profit international relations organization. As part of its continued mission to foster intercultural understanding, GC will host an International Poetry Night on Tuesday, March 31st from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Webster’s Bookstore Café in State College. We invite you to share a favorite poem and read it aloud in your own language along with the English translation. We would love to hear the poets/poems from around the world that have inspired you. Whether you prefer to present a poem or listen to others recite, we welcome you to attend this inspiring event and enjoy a cultural evening.
