Description

Bill Butler has been working with wood for a lifetime; from relief carvings to bowl turning, historic restorations, and later green design and custom building. HIs cutting boards are experiments in composition, utilizing various hardwoods he has accumulated over the years.

Lately, he has been learning to crochet and enjoys experimenting with color and mixed fibers. He finds it meditative and appreciates the process for being quiet and not dusty.

Jean Giddings has experimented with many styles and media in her art. Her collages and paintings combine acrylic paint, papers both scavenged and hand printed, and sometimes pastels, India ink, colored pencil etc. She hopes to engage the viewer’s interest by the use of color and the evocation of mystery.
