Art in Nature

Join us at Rhoneymeade for a creative workshop that celebrates play, exploration, and the magic of winter landscapes. During this Art in Nature experience, you’ll create an impressionistic water media painting inspired by the winter scenery surrounding the Rhoneymeade grounds.

This workshop is all about letting go of perfection and discovering what happens when you paint with curiosity. You’ll experiment with unexpected tools like house‑painting brushes, old toothbrushes, tissues, thin cardboard, salt, and sponges to capture the feeling of winter rather than the fine details.

A short demo will be provided to spark ideas, and then you’ll venture into your own piece working inside the studio or outside along the paths, near sculptures, or in the arboretum, depending on weather and your comfort.
