Students recently had the opportunity to spread a little love and kindness through a meaningful community service project. Students and staff created handmade Valentine’s Day cards for senior citizens at The Center in Bellefonte to help brighten their day and remind them they are loved and appreciated. The Valentines were distributed to local seniors in the community, bringing smiles and warm wishes just in time for Valentine’s Day. Students were thoughtful and creative, filling each card with encouraging messages and colorful designs.Several students even expressed interest in personally passing out the Valentines and hope to be paired with a senior citizen to exchange letters throughout the year. This idea would not only continue spreading kindness and love but also help students strengthen their writing skills while building meaningful intergenerational relationships.We are so proud of our students for sharing their hearts and creativity and making a difference in our community!
