Jr. High Wrestling coach, Evan Benner, was nominated as the District 6 AAA Coach of the Year last weekend! Varsity Coach, Mike Maney, had this to say about Coach Benner:“Coach Benner is now in his 2nd year as head coach of the Bellefonte Jr. High Wrestling program, and he continues to increase the numbers in the program. The season record was 10-3 with a mix of returners, but also a large, inexperienced group who showed a lot of growth & continued to get better as the year went on. He is an exceptional leader, very dedicated as he also helps with the youth program, a person of great integrity, who continues to make a lasting impact on the wrestling program and, more importantly, on the student-athletes he coaches.”Congratulations to Coach Benner on this great achievement!
